Nassfeld Ski Resort in Austria Hermagor-Nassfeld

is the snowiest region in the Eastern Alps. The Nassfeld ski area is the largest and most modern skiing terrain in Carinthia, with 30 lifts and over 110 kilometers of slopes of varying difficulty levels. The region stands out with its modern architecture. Right here, you will find the longest and fastest gondola lift in the Alps – the Millennium Express – measuring over 6 kilometers in length.

The local ski slopes are wide and lead through treeless areas (ranging from 600 to 2020 meters above sea level) and are best suited for intermediate skiers. The resort also offers over 100 kilometers of cross-country skiing trails, illuminated toboggan runs, hiking trails, ice rinks, and many other attractions.

The resort is very child-friendly. In addition to kindergartens and ski schools for the youngest, there are special lifts and fenced areas for learning to ski. There are also areas for freeriding, a snow park, and “ski movie” trails.

The Hotel Franz FERDINAND Mountain Resort Nassfeld is located in the town of Tröpolach, just 50 meters from the Millennium Express ski station in Nassfeld. Guests can enjoy a panoramic view of the surrounding mountains. There are 3 types of rooms available. All rooms have en-suite bathrooms, a wardrobe, and a flat-screen TV. Each room also has its own adjacent ski room.

The property features a mini spa area and a playroom for the little ones. Entertainment is provided by the hotel’s disco. Wi-Fi is available. The hotel was renovated in 2017.

Burgls Apartmenthaus is located in Tröpolach, just 500 meters from the Millennium Express cable car station, providing access to the Nassfeld ski resort. Each apartment is equipped with free wireless internet and features a balcony or terrace with mountain views.

The spacious apartments include a living room with a flat-screen TV and access to satellite channels, a kitchenette with a dining area, and a bathroom. Fresh bread rolls can be delivered to the apartments upon request each morning.

Free private parking is available on site, and there is a bicycle path running next to the building. The nearest restaurant is 100 meters away, and a cross-country skiing trail is located 150 meters from the Burgls property.
